Dear Community,

For over 32 years, Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity has helped hard working families achieve the dream of homeownership.

Today, we are responding to one of our community’s greatest needs: helping our neighbors remain safe and independant in the homes they already own.

Through our new campaign, Repair Homes, Rebuild Hope, we are shifting our primary focus in 2026–2027 from building new homes to repairing existing homes throughout the regions we serve.

These are not Habitat homes, but homes throughout our extended community owned by local residents who need critical repairs to live not only safely but independently as well.

More than half of the homes that need repairs are owned by veterans, while many others are our elderly neighbors and those living with disabilities.

By repairing and modifying these homes, we can preserve dignity, improve safety, and most dear to our hearts as your local Habitat affiliate, we can help our neighbors continue calling their house a home.
