Program Overview
GCHFH has special funding to provide general repair, home modifications, and weatherization. These projects will assist veterans in making their homes accessible and safe. To be considered, you must complete an application with GCHFH and provide all required documentation.
To seek assistance through this program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a veteran or a surviving spouse.
- Be a resident of Victoria, Jackson, Calhoun,Lavaca, Goliad, or Dewitt county.
- Have an income at or below 80% of the median family income for your area.
- Be living in the home and claim it as your primary residence.
- Have proof of home ownership and be current of property tax payments.
