The Art Doors event at Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity invites artists of all experience levels to be part of Open Doors; Repair Homes, Rebuild Community—a unique community art initiative where creativity helps transform lives.

Participating artists will receive a door to turn into an original work of art inspired by themes such as home, hope, resilience, faith, community, or new beginnings. Throughout the fall, these one-of-a-kind doors will be displayed at businesses and public locations across the Crossroads, celebrating local talent while raising awareness for Habitat's mission to repair homes for families in need.

The experience culminates in December with a special Open Doors Pop-Up Exhibition at the prestigious Nave Museum , where the community will gather to view these inspiring creations in one of the region's premier art venues.

This is more than an art exhibit—it's an opportunity to use your talent to make a lasting impact. Every painted door becomes a symbol of hope, reminding our community that together we can repair homes, rebuild hope, and open doors to brighter futures.

THE DOORS ARE OPENING!

Something BIG is being painted in Victoria… and you’re going to want to keep your eyes open!

Our original 12 ART DOORS are officially in the hands of local artists, and they’re busy transforming ordinary doors into extraordinary works of art. Beginning in October, these one-of-a-kind creations will start popping up around the community—and we’re inviting YOU to find them!

But heres the fun part. . .

There will be CLUES.

There will be MYSTERY LOCATIONS.



There will be PRIZES!



Be the first to find an Art Door and you could win a special prize! And don’t stop there—additional prizes and surprises will be revealed throughout the promotion, so the more doors you discover, the more chances you have to win.

And this adventure has a grand finale…

at The Nave Museum!

After making their way throughout Victoria, all 12 Art Doors ( and additional doors artists came to paint for fun) will come together for a special pop-up art show at The The Nave Museum, where the community can experience the entire collection in one place and celebrate the incredible artists who brought these doors to life.

This project truly takes a community to build a community.

We are incredibly grateful to the City of Victoria, Crossroads Art House, Capital Title, McCoy’s and all of the businesses and community partners helping make this project possible. And a very special thank-you to The Nave Museum for opening its doors to showcase the work of all 12 local artists and giving this community art adventure the finale it deserves.
